Gamecocks in the NFL: Which players made their team’s 53-man roster?

Tuesday was the NFL’s deadline to get their rosters to the 53-man limit.

Wide receiver Jalen Brooks (Cowboys) was among the four South Carolina rookies to make the initial pro roster for the 2023 season. Fellow rookies Darius Rush (Colts) and Josh Vann (Panthers) were cut but could land on a practice squad or sign with another team.

Here’s where former Gamecocks stand in the NFL ahead of the regular season. The first game is Thursday, Sept. 7, with most teams playing on Sunday, Sept. 10.
