George Clooney is back in his scrubs for an 'ER'-'House' mashup
George Clooney had a blast from the past on Tuesday (Feb. 2) as he reunited with former ER co-stars for a hilarious segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live! While the actor was keen to reprise a role he played from 1994 to 1999, things took a disappointing turn for George when Jimmy revealed that getting the rest of the actors back together had proven too challenging.

Playing a medical patient in the sketch, Jimmy broke the news that Julianna Marguiles was busy filming The Good Wife, while Noah Wylie had a Taco Tuesday; however, fellow medical drama alumni Hugh Laurie stepped in to help save the day for the ultimate ER-House mash up.
George Clooney donned his medical gown once again for an ER skit on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
For one night only George's character Dr. Douglas Ross joined forces with Hugh's House alter ego Dr. Gregory House to perform CPR on Jimmy, who went into organ failure on the hospital bed.
"Dr. Ross this isn't working, you got to give him the rapper's delight!" Hugh told George, who promptly began performing the Sugarhill Gang's hit Rapper's Delight.
"I said a hip hop, the hippie to the hippie, the hip hip a hop, and you don't stop, a rock it, to the bang bang boogie, say up jump the boogie," he rapped while pumping Jimmy's heart to the rhythm.
George united with House star Hugh Laurie for the TV sketch.
George was catapulted to fame on the medical drama and he previously reminisced about the moment he realized his life had changed in an interview with Esquire. "Thanksgiving [of 1994], I was walking in New York with my buddy Ben, and some guy goes 'Hey George!' I'd been recognized before, but it was always my character's name.
"The fact the guy knew my name? I remember Benny looked over and he goes, 'You just got famous, dude.' And I was like, 'I just got famous!' It was exciting."
