You know that you can buy the phone, but does that mean that you should? It really depends, of course! Here, we present arguments both for and against taking this deal.

Buy the Google Pixel Fold

The arguments in favor of buying a Google Pixel Fold are plentiful. It has long been considered one of the best smartphones on the market, just recently having been cycled off the list for shiny newcomers like the Google Pixel 8 Pro. It has an OLED screen with an admittedly weird 1080 x 2092p screen, sporting a 120Hz refresh rate, still quite high for a phone. It also has an inner display, of course, that stretches 7.6 inches from corner to corner and hits 1840 x 2208p. From our Google Pixel Fold review, or really any user of the phone, you’ll see that the Google Pixel Fold has a truly wonderful camera. Overall, the phone feels smooth and cool to use, a result of the delightful combination of its G2 chip and that 120Hz refresh rate. You’ll get at least a day’s usage out of a fully charged battery, and can go quite beyond that if you use every energy-saving feature of the phone. This means that, even using all of this power and multiple screens, the Google Pixel Fold will still hold up to all of your needs.

Don’t buy the Google Pixel Fold

If you’re skeptical of the Google Pixel Fold, that’s okay too. As it turns out, when we compare the Google Pixel Fold vs the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, it is anybody’s game! While the Google Pixel Fold has clearly better cameras, delivers faster wired charging, and provides machine learning-powered photographic tools, it can be a bit clumsy to hold. All of this is to say that you might want to consider this deal on an unlocked Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 with 256GB of storage as well. The deal isn’t at good (it’s only $100 off) but it’s worth considering in the context of buying a Google Pixel Fold.
