Spooky season is upon us and what better way to celebrate than with some chills and thrills courtesy of "Goosebumps".

A reboot of R.L. Stine’s classic “Goosebumps” series is premiering this weekend on Disney+, Hulu and Freeform as part of Disney+’s “Hallowstream” and Hulu’s “Huluween” celebrations.

Stine’s "Goosebumps" is one of the bestselling book series of all time, with more than 400 million books in print in 32 languages. A pop culture phenomenon, it has inspired television shows and movies for decades, including the original "Goosebumps" series which ran from 1995 to 1998 and “The Haunting Hour: The Series,” from 2010 to 2014.

While the original series focused on new characters in each episode, the new show will follow five high schoolers as they put on their investigative hats and look into a teenager’s death three decades earlier.

The new series will plunge viewers "into a world of mystery and suspense," as per Disney+ and follows a group of five high schoolers as they "embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle — while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past."

"The new television series draws on elements from five of the most popular middle grade books including “Say Cheese and Die!,” “The Haunted Mask,” “The Cuckoo Clock of Doom,” “Go Eat Worms!” and “Night of the Living Dummy," says Disney+.
