Feb. 5 (UPI) -- CBS announced Monday that Sunday night's Grammy Awards increased ratings by 34% over 2023. The show's 16.9 million viewers is its largest since 2020, CBS said.

173% more viewers tuned in on the Paramount+ streaming service. Live +3 day tallies will boost the total well over 17 million viewers.

During the show, the 9:45-10 p.m. block boasted the highest viewership of 18.25 million viewers. That block included the In Memoriam segment.

CBS also reported social media numbers, saying #Grammys trended for 12 hours, there were 62.6 million potential impressions, and 56.4 million social media video clips were seen as of Monday morning.

Ratings totals come from Nielsen and internal data. Social media figures come from NetBase.
