Fareway Meat Market has opened its third metro outpost, its first in the Northland.

The Iowa-based grocer and butcher shop opened Friday at 8606 N.E. 85th St. near Liberty.

In addition to a meat counter that offers fresh cuts of meat and seafood, the Northland Fareway is a full grocery store, with a produce section; beer, wine and liquor; and to-go barbecue dishes from McGonigle’s Kitchen and Catering.
