Guns, drugs seized from West End Winnipeg home
Five people face numerous charges after a cache of guns and drugs were seized from an apartment suite in West End Winnipeg.
The police service's street crimes unit and tactical support team raided the suite in the 400 block of Furby Street on Tuesday.
The following items were seized:
- 12-gauge shotgun and ammunition.
- .22 calibre rifle and ammunition.
- 2 cans of bear spray.
- Taser.
- 3 pellet guns.
- 64 grams of marijuana.
- 9 grams of methamphetamine.
- 7 ecstasy pills.
- $25,000 in cash.
- Miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
A 19-year-old woman, 38-year-old woman, 35-year-old woman, 29-year-old man and a 68-year-old man face drug- and weapon-related charges.
