Harry Kane provides Tottenham update after unnamed Spurs player tested positive for coronavirus
Harry Kane has provided an update after an unnamed Tottenham player tested positive for coronavirus, stating his side are following the guidelines after the "unfortunate" finding.
Following the fifth round of Premier League testing earlier this week, Tottenham confirmed one player or staff member had tested positive for the virus after showing negative results previously.
A total of 1,197 players and staff were tested from all 20 Premier League clubs, with Tottenham the only club reporting a positive result.
Kane - who has returned to fitness after a surgery-requiring hamstring injury suffered on New Year's Day - confirmed it was a player that tested positive, and says Tottenham have trained as normal since, as per the Premier League guidelines.
"Obviously all I can do, and all the rest of the players can do, is listen to the advice from the Premier League, from the doctors, and that's what we're taking," Kane told Sky Sports.

"It's obviously unfortunate that one of our players tested positive, but we're just going with the guidelines, going with what the Premier League are telling us.
"We carry on training as we have done and go from there really."
As revealed by Standard Sport on Thursday, Tottenham are to resume their Premier League campaign against Manchester United on Friday June 19.
