Heavy Snowfall Brings White Christmas Eve to Western Michigan

Snow fell across western Michigan on December 24, making for a white Christmas Eve. Leon Hendrix captured this slow motion footage of heavy snow in Hudsonville, Michigan. “It’s really coming down!” Hendrix wrote on Twitter.

The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory and a hazardous weather watch for the area, warning of icy roads, reduced visibility, and single digit wind chills. “Locally intense snow late tonight near the lakeshore may lead to whiteouts and inch per hour snowfall rates,” the NWS warned.
