Heinz Pear Green Bean Mango baby food recalled
Heinz Canada has issued a baby food recall warning for the Pear Green Bean Mango pouches because of potential seal issues that could lead to spoiling.
The recall affects the 128-millilitre pouches with an expiry date of May 24, 2016 and UPC 0 57000 02991 3.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the recall was triggered by a consumer complaint and there have been no illnesses reported.
The products were sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation that may lead to the recall of other products.
