We wonder who footed the bill for this vacation?

Exes Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie have taken their 3-year-old son, Luca, on a Maui getaway. They were photographed enjoying some beach time on Thursday with the Younger actress, 28, showing off her abs in an itty-bitty striped bikini. The retired hockey player was seen toting a giant pretzel float and some sand toys as they returned from taking a dip.

The pair has been on mostly friendly terms since their split back in January 2014, but the timing of their vacation is especially interesting because they finalized their divorce this week. TMZ reported on Tuesday that they were officially divorcées with the Lizzie McGuire actress paying Comrie $2,408,786 to settle their financial split. She kept their home in Beverly Hills, a Malibu mobile home, and some other property — which is likely why she had to pay him — while he held on to the keys of his 2014 Bentley coupe, a 2013 Mercedes G-Class SUV, and a bunch of jewelry.

As far as Luca, the exes, who signed a prenup before their 2010 wedding, agreed to joint custody and split costs for raising him. Neither Hilary nor Mike received spousal support. (Comrie made some cash of his own from the NHL and his father is Canadian businessman Bill Comrie, who is worth a reported $415 million.)

It seemed like the pair was trying to work things out early on after their split. However, after Mike made headlines for drunkenly hitting on a waitress in L.A. in February 2015, she pulled the trigger on their divorce the next month.

Last week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Duff said she and Comrie remained friendly despite their split. “We are good friends and we laugh a lot,” she said. “And we have a great communication and we share pictures when one is not with Luca. He’s great, we are great, and we keep on trucking.”

In Redbook’s February issue, Hilary talked about whether she’d ever get married again, admitting, “It’s not important to me.” But she seemed more open to having another mini-me, saying, “I don’t feel I would need to be married to have another child.”

However, it looks like anybody she had a child with would have to be cool with her being very close to her ex.
