Hollyoaks spoilers follow.
Hollyoaks has revealed the aftermath of Rayne Royce's death story.
The shocking death will occur as Rayne gathers all of her friends at a mansion in the hope of winning over the producers of the reality TV series Love Cave.
Her death will be foreshadowed with a series of flash forward scenes that provide hints throughout the show's big stunt week about what may have happened to Rayne.
In the run-up to Rayne's death, Rayne is encouraged by Faye to invite her friends to this mansion as a way to make up for no other content creators taking up the offer for a weekend trip.
Rayne goes so far as to film a fake death scene where she's filmed lifeless in a swimming pool as part of an audition tape for the Love Cave bosses. She also plots to secretly film the mansion excursion.
The returning taxi driver, Benny, soon drops the group off at their getaway destination, where talent agent Faye pressures Rayne to amp up the drama to impress the reality TV producers.
Meanwhile, Rayne's former boyfriend Brent – who is supposed to have died – is actually holding Peri hostage in a basement until she convinces him to confront Rayne head-on.
Soon, Brent brings Peri along with him as he heads to the mansion for a long-awaited showdown. Rayne has no idea about her boyfriend's impending arrival so she comes up with a way to heighten the drama.
The influencer announces a 'roast dinner' where she can share home truths about the guests in order to purposefully incite them. When Rayne asks her guests who they'd most want to kill, she's stunned when they reveal she'd be their pick.
Before the end of this episode, Rayne does end up dead. Police will swarm the mansion looking to catch a possible killer using the secret footage Rayne had been filming.
As the police investigation begins, the various guests start getting their alibis straight. Prince insists he wasn't the killer because he was in bed with Faye at the time.
Hunter and Lizzie are both furious over the police keeping Phoenix in custody, while Nadira and Peri debate whether asking for a lawyer will make them look guilty.
At the same time, Romeo has headed back to the home he shared with Rayne and her friends, Lacey and Nadira. The trio share memories of the better times with Rayne, as the truth about her evil deeds starts to fade from existence.
However, revelations occur that make Lacey question whether they ever had a true friendship. Lacey's suspicions even get the best of her when Nadira dodges a call from boss Rafe to check on her.
Will we find out who killed Rayne?
