Hollyoaks airs twist for Sienna and Ethan in special episode

Sienna Blake and Ethan Williams encountered a setback in their romance in new scenes of Channel 4's Hollyoaks.

In tonight's (May 11) episode, the village was in full party mode for this year's Eurovision. Meanwhile, Sienna (played by Anna Passey) was still reeling from having lost £10,000 at the races after agreeing to a bet off a tip from charming stranger Lord Rafe Harcourt (Chris Gordon).

Determined to scam him out of some money, Sienna accepted Rafe's invitation and the two met at The Dog unbeknownst to her boyfriend Ethan (Matthew Bailey).

At the pub, Sienna continued lying to Rafe about being a human rights lawyer and pretended she had pledged the money she lost to a charity benefiting children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

However, her little act miserably crumbled when Leela spotted her with Rafe and mistook the meeting for a job interview. Thinking to do right by Sienna after having fired her, the business owner recommended her friend's cleaning services to Rafe.

When Leela left, Rafe confronted an embarrassed Sienna, who admitted being "in between jobs".

The lord made a £10,000 donation to the charity of her choice in her name and confirmed his interest in Sienna. Despite appreciating the gesture, she was still upset at losing her savings and rejected him, telling him she had a boyfriend who was her "safe bet".

Meanwhile, Dave convinced his brother Ethan to be his wingman as he tried to get back out there following his split from Honour. After chatting up two women, Dave pushed to bring the party to Ethan's place

Later on at Ethan and Sienna's, the former insisted Dave and his guests should leave. As they were about to go, one of the two women planted a kiss on Ethan's lips. Sienna returned home at that very moment, finding a mysterious blonde locking lips with her boyfriend in her living room. Where does this leave Ethan and Sienna?

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.
