Home and Away's Kirby shares past trauma in chat with Theo

Home and Away's Kirby Aramoana opens up about her past on UK screens next week, after Theo Poulos accuses her of keeping secrets.
Kirby is pushed into a heart-to-heart with Theo after he questions why she kept quiet about her passion for surfing.
In upcoming scenes on Channel 5, Theo watches on in bewilderment as Kirby puts on an impressive display out on the water.
This unsettles Theo, as Kirby hadn't once mentioned her surfing talent when they were a couple – despite his own keen interest in the hobby.

When Theo raises this with Kirby, she sets boundaries by firmly reminding him that they're no longer a couple and she doesn't need to explain herself.
Kirby adds that from now on, she wants to keep their relationship purely professional as bandmates in Lyrik.
The latest tensions concern Remi Carter and Eden Fowler, who are worried about the impact on Lyrik if Kirby and Theo keep bickering.
Remi delivers some harsh words to Kirby about the effect her love life is having on the band.

Reluctantly taking this on board, Kirby approaches Theo with an olive branch.
Kirby explains that she gave up surfing a while ago when she had a terrifying accident out in the water and nearly died. She confirms that her return to the surf the previous day was a huge milestone moment for her.
Theo explains his own feelings of hurt in response, recalling how he was so open with Kirby about his own past traumas when they were together. He now feels that she was holding back when they'd promised to always be honest with each other.
With Theo clearly still struggling over the situation, is his overreaction proof that he isn't really over Kirby?
