In an Instagram post Wednesday night, series vet Chelsea Peretti (aka Gina Linetti) shared a photo with fellow castmates Andy Samberg (Jake Peralta), Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa Diaz), Terry Crews (Terry Jeffords), Melissa Fumero (Amy Santiago), Joe Lo Truglio (Charles Boyle), Dirk Blocker (Hitchcock) and Joel McKinnon Miller (Scully), and series co-creator Dan Goor.
“Tonite was like a very special episode where we ran thru so many memories and moments,” she wrote.
Fumero also shared the photo to her feed, writing: “We laughed. We cried a little. We reminisced. We laughed some more. Nine Nine Forever.” Added Crews: “Could not have described last night any better.”
The bittersweet reunion comes four months after the passing of the late, great Andre Braugher, who died in December following a brief battle with lung cancer. The role of precinct captain Raymond Holt earned Braugher four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series over the course of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s eight-season run (which wrapped in September 2021).
All 153 episodes of Brooklyn Nine-Nine stream on Peacock, while Seasons 1-4 are now available on Netflix.
