Hotels often provide quality customer service, but it’s not every day that a hotel goes so above and beyond that one feels obliged to share the good deed with the entire world through social media.

Yet such was the case for a young woman known only as Meg, who recently stayed at the Holiday Garden Inn in Louisville, Ky. While booking her room online, Meg decided to add a couple of additional requests in the comments section.

“May I have a box of chocolates for the love of my life? A cat is fine too,” she wrote.

When Meg arrived, she found an assortment of mini chocolate bars, a framed photo of a cat and a handwritten note from hotel staff.

Meg was so impressed with the hotel going above and beyond to address her needs that she she decided to share her experience on Reddit and Imgur in a post titled “Holiday Garden Inn, Louisville East has won my business forever.”

And with that, the Holiday Garden Inn — Lousiville East left a customer with a smile on her face.
