Incubus is setting out on a special tour to celebrate the legacy of their hit album Morning View.

The legendary alternative band announced on Tuesday that they’ll be playing 10 arena shows across North America in 2024 in honor of their re-recording of their 2001 album Morning View. On the tour, the rock group will play their fourth studio album in full, as well as other hits from throughout their career.

The group currently featuring frontman Brandon Boyd, guitarist Mike Einziger, drummer José Pasillas, keys player Chris Kilmore and bassist Nicole Row will kick off their 10-date run in late August and play through mid-September.

The rockers are hitting the road following the announcement made in October 2023 that they’ll be re-recording and re-releasing their beloved album Morning View this year as Morning View XXIII, due out May 10 via Virgin Music Group. The original project featured popular singles such as "Wish You Were Here" and "Nice to Know You" and went on to be RIAA certified double platinum.

Boyd, 47, shared a statement about the upcoming project and tour in a press release. He said, “Roughly 23 years ago we rented a house at the sea to do an art experiment. The novel and expansive environment combined with a healthy dose of momentum helped us find that ever sought after FLOW state and the songs that became known as Morning View have since become indelible and deeply important parts of our lives.”

The musician continued, “This album helped propel our little art experiment called ‘Incubus’ into a way of life and here we are today, some 23 years later, about to introduce a new/next phase of it’s existence. Morning View XXIII is a re-recording/re-think of the 2001 album and is the result of our desire to honor this burgeoning legacy but also reimagine it as musicians who have been lovingly performing these songs night after night for the last 23 years. See you on the road soon!”

On Incubus’ Instagram Story, the group also shared a statement, explaining that they got the idea to play Morning View from front to back on tour following their Hollywood Bowl concert in October of last year. “... it became an obvious next step for us to take this show on the road, so to speak. So in late summer of ‘24 Incubus will be coming to an arena near you to share that love,” they wrote.

The Make Yourself band also explained in the post that longtime bassist Ben Kenney “decided to step away from Incubus.” They wrote, “We are saddened at this departure but honor his decision and we are so grateful that we had the opportunity to make music with such a talented and generalist artist for two decades.”

Row, who toured with Incubus in 2023, will replace him going forward, the musicians explained. “We are thrilled for you to hear her contributions to Morning View XXIII and witness her energy on stage,” Incubus added.
