Inked by Dani Launched Temporary Versions of Celebrity Tattoos

2018 seemed like a whirlwind year in new celebrity ink. Rare was the week without news of a new tattoo adorning our faves's bodies — including mysterious eyebrow phrases, tiny rocket ships, and a tribute to a pet pig. (I mean, look at this Ruth Bader Ginsburg tattoo!) If all this art inspired you to match a celebrity with ink of your own, but you're not sure about making a permanent change to your body, one company has announced an affordable way to echo celebrity tattoos without the commitment.

Introducing Celebrity INKED, a new collection by INKED by Dani that is available starting November 29. The collection features 11 miniature packs of temporary tattoos inspired by celebs including Ariana Grande, Kylie Jenner, and Selena Gomez. Dani Egna, the founder & CEO of INKED by Dani, kept the artwork centered around the recent mini-tattoo trend — as spotted on Hailey Baldwin and Cara Delevingne. "I looked at the shapes, sizes, and overall designs for inspiration, and focused on creating temporary tattoos that are super chic, wearable and easy-to-apply whenever, wherever," she told Teen Vogue.

Made of cruelty-free and waterproof ink, the tattoos take only minutes to apply. The removal process is also easy, with Dani noting that INKED artwork disappears after two weeks. You can also remove the image earlier using makeup remover or rubbing alcohol — far less painful and time-consuming than actually going under the needle.

It's impossible to say whether 2019 will be filled with as much coordinating ink as 2018 was, but temporary tattoos remain a fun, and brief, way of changing up your look. Brands including Tattly and Milk Makeup have also gotten in on the trend, creating products made for holiday parties or a night with friends my dog.
