Which items from the Texas Rangers World Series win are headed to the Hall of Fame?

With the Texas Rangers’ historic World Series win on Wednesday the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown took several items from the Rangers to commemorate the win.

The Hall of Fame took items ranging from jerseys, bats and caps from several players here’s the full list of items headed to Cooperstown and the significance behind them.

Bruce Bochy’s cap: Bochy became the sixth manager in MLB history to win four World Series titles joining Casey Stengel (seven), Joe McCarthy (seven), Connie Mack (five), Walter Alston (four) and Joe Torre (four).

Corey Seager’s helmet: Seager was selected as the World Series MVP for the second time of his career a feat only equaled by Bob Gibson, Reggie Jackson and Sandy Koufax.

Adolis García’s game one bat: Garcia set and MLB record for RBIs in a single postseason run and few were more important than the walk-off home run he hit in the bottom of the eleventh inning to win game one of the World Series.

Josh Sborz’s glove: Sborz was one of the Rangers best postseason relievers and pitched the last two innings of their World Series-clinching victory.

Evan Carter’s batting gloves: The Rangers rookie sensation became the second youngest player in MLB history to bat third in game one of a World Series.

Marcus Semien’s G5 jersey: Semien’s two-run home run in the ninth inning gave the Rangers a 5-0 lead headed into the bottom of the ninth.

Nathan Eovaldi’s G5 cap and spikes: Eovaldi became the first pitcher in postseason history to win five games and went undefeated during the Rangers playoff run.

Will Smith’s luggage tag: The Rangers reliever won his third straight World Series with his third different team. Smith won titles with the Atlanta Braves (2021) and Houston Astros (2022) before winning with the Rangers.
