Jacksonville Tornado Sends Car Flying Into Oncoming Traffic

An EF-1 tornado caused havoc in Jacksonville, Florida, flipping a car when it touched down on Friday, June 28.

Video filmed by Ellen Mitchell shows the tornado send a pick-up truck flying from a car dealership onto Beach Boulevard, narrowly missing oncoming traffic.

Mitchell told Storyful she saw a transformer blow moments before the incident and immediately started filming.

“As a Floridian, I know the weather can get weird very quickly,” Mitchell said.
