Joe Jonas Has Already Moved On After His Split From Stormi Bree

Burnin up, etc, etc. Joe Jonas, almost-divorced dad of two, has a new gal pal. In the nine months since his split from wife Sophie Turner, Jonas has been linked to model Stormi Bree, though they called that off earlier this month. Now he’s been spotted hitting the beach with actor Laila Abdallah. Here’s what we know.
The pair arent for sure dating. They seem close in the pictures, published by Page Six, hugging and laughing in the water, but as they aren’t actively making out, it’s possible they’re just friends. Both wore hats and swimsuits—green trunks for him, a patterned blue-and-white one-piece for her—and are at the One&Only Aesthesis (she tagged it; thanks, Laila), a luxury resort in Athens. It appears Jonas was there for the grand opening, along with some other celebs and influencers, so it’s even possible that they literally just met at this swanky getaway. Vacation fling, anyone?
Abdallah is a Lebanese actor who has appeared in a number of Arabic-language projects, and also a Disney Channel Christmas movie (DCOMs are something they have in common!).
Turner, meanwhile, is still happily dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson. Though she hasn’t given any quotes about her current relationship, she did open up for the first time about the difficult days following the announcement of her divorce, when the press tried to make her out as a kid-ditching party girl.
“Those were the worst few days of my life,” Turner told British Vogue about the tabloid narrative that compared her disparagingly to Joe Jonas’s doting dad. “I was contracted to be on set for another two weeks, so I couldn’t leave. My kids were in the States and I couldn’t get to them…And all these articles started coming out…. It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother—mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true. You are a good mum and you’ve never been a partier.’” Wonder what would happen if Turner were on the beach with a new friend. Just asking.
