“I am beyond thrilled to welcome Joe to the Elevate team,” Alex Cole, President of Elevate Entertainment tells Deadline. “His experience and commercial sense are unparalleled and we have no doubt he will be a very productive member of our team.”

Wiggins has sold and produced pilots with all the major networks and recently developed feature adaptations of a popular tabletop game, a Newbery Award-winning novel, a NYT bestseller and a high-concept graphic novel. With his Chilean background, many of his projects have been based on Spanish-speaking formats such as the CW pilot, Playing Dead, which was a remake of the Colombian telenovela, Lynch, as well as the more recent NBC pilot, Dangerous Moms, based on the Spanish series, Senõras del h(Ampa).

When not working on projects based on IP, Wiggins leads the development of genre-defying specs and pitches, while also identifying new and diverse voices to introduce to the marketplace. The Boston native graduated with a B.F.A. from Emerson College.

Wiggins is eager to bring his experience to the Elevate Development and Production team and produce innovative commercial projects with social relevance.
