John Brotherton on Being Candace Cameron Bure's First Kiss – and the Awkwardness of Meeting Her Husband After
"It's not like Val would come up to you [and say,] 'So I see you kissing my wife. I thought you were a comrade,'" Dave Coulier joked
Fuller House fans may have seen sparks fly DJ Tanner and Matt Harmon after kissing for the first time, but in reality, actor John Brotherton says the moment was a bit uncomfortable.
During an episode of the Full House Rewind podcast on May 24, John, who played Harmon, recalled the moments following his first onscreen kiss with Cameron Candace Bure (DJ) and meeting her husband, Valerie "Val" Bure.
When host Dave Coulier asked if it was "a little uncomfortable" rubbing shoulders with Val immediately after, John admitted to feeling a bit of tension. However, he was nothing but kind upon introduction.
