Join Star journalists for in-person subscriber tech support event

Last month we hosted our first in-person subscriber tech support event with amazing success. Around 80 subscribers joined us to learn more about The Star’s digital products and how to enjoy reading the news on their electronic devices.

Events like this allow subscribers to become accustomed to our digital news products as we make the shift from print to digital.

These events also allow us to hear from our readers about the features they like and dislike about our digital products. We gain insight into how our readers use the products while also working through your concerns. Your feedback allows us to better understand the subscriber experience.

Join us on Saturday, July 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. for our second subscriber tech support event at the Lenexa City Center Library, located at 8778 Penrose Lane Lenexa, KS 66219.

We encourage you to bring your own smartphone, tablet or laptop so we can help you troubleshoot on the device you are most comfortable using.

Based on your feedback, our next event will be a little different than the first.

Attendees will check in with us in a conference room, where Star journalists will greet you and help you sign on to your device. You will then be invited to a smaller room to receive one-on-one or small group assistance.

Tickets for this event are available for time slots every 15 minutes, starting at 1 p.m. You are not required to register, but guests with a time-based reservation will receive priority for one-on-one assistance.
