Cuoco is a noted animal lover and rides horses competitively, but what her new addition really highlights is her affinity for decorative light sources.

The cake’s creator, Kimberly Bailey of the Butter End Cakery, explained on her blog how it came about. “I told her that I had a vision of the chandelier high with the cake upside down as an extension of the chandelier … like a finial,” Bailey wrote. “She lost it! She was down with it immediately.”

Back in May 2014, Cuoco told Allure during a tour of her home that one of the most important requirements for her personal space is “nice, pretty lighting.”
