Katherine Schwarzenegger Hopped on Instagram and Randomly Took a Shot at the 2024 Met Gala

Seems like Katherine Schwarzenegger is less than impressed with this year's Met Gala (unclear whether or not she was invited), because she randomly hopped on Instagram to imply that it wasn't "classy" or "chic."

Katherine reportedly hopped on Instagram to share some Met Gala photos her mom Maria Shriver posted (her story has since expired!), and went ahead and commented this:

“When the Met Gala was chic and classy.”

Oooooh kay!

Meanwhile, Maria wrote in her caption "It’s the first Monday in May and the Met Gala is underway! Things were a little more low key when I attended back in 2001, but I thought I would share some photos from that wonderful night. Not only did I get to wear this beautiful dress, but I got to attend with both my parents, as well as my cousin, Caroline. What do you think: would we rock the red carpet in these same looks tonight?"

Katherine certainly isn't the only celebrity to come for the Met Gala over the years. Though, no one has gone off more than Julia Fox, who last year had this to say to the Daily Mail:

“To be honest with you, the Met Gala has never spoken to me—I mean look at who is running it. If it was about fashion, I’d be there, but it’s not. It’s about politics, privilege, who your parents are and how much money you make.”

She went on to say, “The Met Gala has a gatekeeper vibe. I don’t rank people in my head based on who their parents are or how much money they have: The Met is not exclusive, it is exclusionary. I don’t want to sound like I’m butt hurt [because] I love the Met but I want to do more for more designers and people that don’t have the same privilege so they can be seen and heard.”
