Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom celebrated the pop star’s final appearance as a judge on American Idol with a night out at LA hot spot Catch. And let’s just say, the singer went all out for the occasion.

She may not have attended the Met Gala 2024 (contrary to what her mom believed), but Perry proved she’s still a style queen, opting for a sculptural sheer sequined corset and matching high-slit wrap skirt. Because she is Katy Perry, the singer finished the look with her beauty signature: a bright coral lip.

The 39-year-old skipped the accessories and instead wore her metallics on her feet in a pair of strappy gold stiletto sandals with an on-trend square toe.

Bloom, meanwhile, took his role as supportive background hubby a little too seriously, keeping things uber casual in a black varsity jacket, faded black denim, and taupe suede work boots. It’s giving Justin and Hailey Bieber, but hey, who are we to judge!

I’ll just say this: We need more Bloom in formalwear, as a rule. I mean, look how good this man looks in a tux!

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have been together since 2016 and announced their engagement in 2019. A year later the couple welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove.

Perry wrapped her final season as a judge on American Idol on Sunday, May 19, following 21-year-old Abi Carter’s season-22 win. During the finale show, Perry paid tribute to the dozens of singers she’s judged during her tenure, performing “What Makes a Woman” while dressed in a massive skirt made up of seven season’s worth of Top 24 contestants’ faces.

As for who will replace Katy Perry on American Idol come season 23, that info has yet to be announced. We’re wishing good luck to whomever eventually gets the job. They’ll certainly have a big skirt to fill.
