Kennedy Center Honors: Watch the Stars Salute George Clooney, U2, Gladys Knight, Amy Grant, Tania León
The stars gather to salute stage, screen and music legends during the 45th Kennedy Center Honors (CBS, 8/7c).
Filmed on Sunday, Dec. 4 at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C., the annual celebration will honor R&B legend Gladys Knight, actor/filmmaker/beloved County General doc George Clooney, contemporary Christian pop singer-songwriter Amy Grant, conductor and educator Tania León, and Irish rock band U2 (comprised of band members Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen Jr.).

Following an introduction by former honorees Chita Rivera, Garth Brooks, Herbie Hancock, LL Cool J, Michael Tilson Thomas, Carmen de Lavallade and Big Bird, the two-hour event will feature performances by Brooks, Brandi Carlile and the Highwomen, Sheryl Crow, Ariana DeBose, Mickey Guyton, Hozier, Patti LaBelle, Dianne Reeves, Eddie Vedder, and BeBe and CeCe Winans, among others.
