After a tough loss to in-state rival Kansas State on Saturday, the Kansas Jayhawks look to end their regular season with a win vs. Cincinnati.

The Jayhawks (7-4, 4-4 Big 12) narrowly lost 31-27 to the Wildcats. Meanwhile, the Bearcats (3-8, 1-7) lost badly to West Virginia.

1. These two teams haven’t faced each other much. The Bearcats won the last matchup between both sides in 1997, but the all-time record is 1-1. Saturday’s matchup will be the first the two sides will play since the Bearcats joined the conference.

2. Cincinnati quarterback Emory Jones has put together a solid season so far. He’s thrown for 2115 yards and 17 touchdowns. He’s prone to make mistakes at times, with 10 interceptions and four fumbles on the year.

3. The Bearcats’ defense isn’t particularly formidable. Opponents score an average of 28.3 points per game against Cincinnati, ranking No. 93 overall. Opposing teams also average 388.3 yards per game.

4. Cincinnati has a great rushing attack. The Bearcats average 215.8 yards per game, led by star RB Corey Kiner. He’s rushed for 941 yards and five touchdowns.
