Kyle Richards Says Being ‘Cut Off’ from Paris Hilton’s Baby Is 'Hardest Part' of Her Feud with Kathy Hilton
Kyle's ongoing tension with Kathy has left her out of some major life moments
Kyle Richards is feeling left out of a big moment in her extended family.
On Wednesday's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle, 54, goes on a hike with sister Kim Richards and castmate Dorit Kemsley.
As Kim talks to the two women about getting into painting during the pandemic, she mentions that she told sister Kathy Hilton that she could paint something for Paris Hilton's son Phoenix's nursery.
"Have you seen the baby yet?" Kyle asks.
"Yeah. He looks cute, so cute," she says.
In a flashback, Kyle can be seen telling husband Mauricio Umansky, "I still can't believe that I found out from my Instagram that she had a baby," which Umansky agreed was "a little weird."

The flashback then shows Kyle asking daughters Sophia, 23, and Alexia, 27, if they're "planning on going to visit," to which Alexia admits, "I have a hard time. Not doing that with you feels weird to me."
Kyle assures her daughters that they have "their own relationship," adding, "I don't want you guys to get involved in our stuff," referencing her current estrangement from Kathy.
"My sister and my nieces are a package deal, so if Kathy and I have an argument, all of a sudden it's like okay, I'm cut off from everybody," she tearfully explains. "And that's, for me, the hardest part ... honestly more than anything."
On the hike, Dorit compliments the bond between Kim and Kyle's daughters, which prompts Kim to emotionally tell Kyle how she feels about the ongoing discontent between the sisters.
"I do believe, I'm going to get emotional, that life is too short to fight," Kim says, beginning to cry. I"t's just not worth it. It bothers me. I want you guys to fix it somehow. It can be so short."
"I don't even know how we got here. I was having a good time with her, and I only had good intentions, wanting her in the group, and I don't know how this happened," Kyle replies.
"Both of you could have done something a little different. But in the moment, you don't see that," Kim levels, telling Dorit, "I don't think either one was basically wrong or not wrong."
"I don't want to get into that. But I think we could all make different decisions and everything is a lesson," Kim says to both.
"When I think about all the time we're losing right now with babies coming into the family. We would normally all be together during this time. We would all be close with all of these kids the way we were when all of our kids were growing up. And that makes me sad."
Kyle tells Kim, "Sometimes you have to take a little step back and wait until it's the right time."
"But you don't want to let so much time go that there becomes resentment," Kim concludes.
