Is Larsa Pippen engaged to Heir Jordan? Ring of ‘Real Housewives’ star just sparked rumors

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan got people talking after the “Real Housewives of Miami” star was seen with a ginormous ring during a recent outing in L.A.
The reality vet and sneaker mogul have been together for roughly a year, despite naysayers saying they wouldn’t last, and not because of the difference in ages (she’s 49, he’s 32).
It’s that this couple has an, um, unique connection to the sport of basketball.
Recap: Larsa was married to Scottie Pippin, who played with Marcus’ father, NBA legend Michael Jordan, on the Chicago Bulls. The two retired athletes are reportedly barely on speaking terms due to some on- and off-court issues that were addressed in Pippen’s 2021 memoir “Unguarded.”
Just one excerpt gives you some idea of their rivalry:
“I may go as far to say Mike ruined basketball. In the ‘80s on the playgrounds, you’d have everyone moving the ball around — passing to help the team. That stopped in the ‘90s. Kids wanted to be ‘Like Mike.’ Well, Mike didn’t want to pass — didn’t want to rebound, or defend the best player. He wanted everything done for him.”
Adding fuel to the fire is that when Air Jordan was asked by a TMZ photographer in July whether he approved of his son’s May-December relationship with the Only Fans model, the sports icon yelled, “No!”
So back to the burning question? What is the significance of Larsa’s rock?
In a recent Instagram post, the mother of four and Heir Jordan posed together, teasing their followers with the caption, “It’s in the works.”
But during their joint “Separation Anxiety” iHeartRadio podcast on Tuesday, the duo revealed a wedding is not imminent, and the bauble is just a “promise ring.”
Pippen added that after the story went viral, all her friends were sending congratulations and she thought that was “cute.”
What’s “in the works,” then? Perhaps a conversation with Bravo execs. A union between these two would make great TV.
“It could be a key storyline for us,” said Pippen’s beau. “As we get closer, we’ll start narrowing down all the options.”
