Janelle Monáe throws a party for Atlanta on the remix of “Champagne Shit” from her latest album, The Age of Pleasure. As a teenager, the Kansas-native began building her Wondaland empire after relocating to the Georgia hotspot and meeting collaborators like Chuck Lightning and Nate Wonder, who produced the single. When Latto hops on the track, it’s with the same drive of coming into her artistry in the same entertainment hub, and an additional assist from Quavo puts the city on the ultimate pedestal.

“Bring some models and bring me more bottles/’Cause we drinking champagne shit/How much I spend on this ice on my collar/And I got a champagne wrist/We gon’ drink ’til we faint now it’s tasting like water,” the Migos rapper spits. “Proud of the times when we came from the bottom/Right now I’m hot, it’s time to go harder/How we keep winnin’, because I’m a starter/Gotta make sure that we protect the energy/Spray the champagne, they remember me.”

Latto gets into her “Champagne Shit” bag on the second verse of the song and brings the party with her. “On my champagne shit/How you get the lamb, bitch, it’s all in the lips/All in the hips/Whole lotta bad bitches, all in the vill,” she raps. “I can’t wait to pop off/College girl, I’m tryna pay your tuition/Red bone kissing, Casamigos pissin’/Tryna get home to the D like a piston.”

The addition of Latto and Quavo on the record, and their participation in a subtle homage to Atlanta, echos the ethos behind Monáe’s album, which arrived in June. “I think being an artist gets lonely,” the musician told Rolling Stone earlier this year. “Most people don’t understand what’s going on in my brain. Community has been so helpful to me; it’s beautiful that I have a title called The Age of Pleasure because it actually re-centers me. It’s not about an album anymore. I’ve changed my whole fucking lifestyle.”
