The conversation then turned to who would care for her son Jackson Campbell, who was born in 2012, in the event that something happened to both her and ex-husband Will Campbell.

"I definitely think in this situation, the mother has thought way more in-depth on this situation and thought about all factors in life,” she shared. “And the dad maybe has more surfacely [sic] thought about this and just prioritize his family because they are blood over someone who could possibly be a better candidate.”

“And as I was reading this, I was like, oh, dear god. Like, what would I do if something, God forbid, happened to Will and I at the same time? And obviously, my parents aren't a choice. My mom is not a choice. My grandparents are too old to do it,” she continued.

Despite Will’s parents being “in their sixties”, she noted that she would prefer they become guardians of Jackson because their son “already has established relationships with them regardless of the age.”

She added: “But I think Will's brother and my ex sister-in-law, because they also have children that are younger than Jackson, but also know him very well, and they're in the thick of parenting."

Lindsie’s comments come one month after her younger sister Savannah, 26, confirmed during an Instagram Stories Q+A that she asked Lindsie to refrain from attending their parents Todd and Julie Chrisley's public appeals hearing in Georgia on April 19. She also detailed why the call was made in the first place, despite originally not planning "to address this publicly at all."

"I most certainly told her privately to not attend. I told her that she was not wanted, that my dad did not want her there and that he didn't care to have a relationship with her," Savannah recalled of the message, which she said was relayed through their grandmother, Nanny Faye Chrisley. "So, I said all of these things. I am more than happy that I said them and it's my parents' appeal. They have the right to say who they want there and who they don't."

Bringing up Lindsie's alleged "involvement with the government" in aiding in their parents' conviction, as well as her older sister's attempt to "sue" her, Savannah continued, "It hates [sic] me to even discuss this but the record has to be set straight."

Though there was a brief reconciliation between Lindsie and the Chrisley brood, Lindsie has since been embattled in a public feud with Savannah. In recent months, they have both declared their lack of interest in resolving the tension.

Lindsie has stated their current relationship is "nothing" and claimed that her younger sister "has never privately reached out to me to discuss her apparent issues with me." Meanwhile, Savannah told PEOPLE in October 2023 that she's "good" and doesn't "do well with constant lies and victim mentality."

"I have realized that as an adult, it's my responsibility to have healthy relationships and cut out unhealthy ones," the Unlocked host said, referencing Lindsie as well as older brother Kyle Chrisley. "And especially now with the two kids, it's my job to protect them emotionally, physically, psychologically and I just don't have room for people that don't want to show up and show up in a healthy manner."
