Tree enters Gamecocks starting lineup

Freshman offensive lineman Tree Babalade will get the start at left tackle on Saturday. Babalade saw a lot of action against Furman. The rest of the offensive line will be Sidney Fugar at right tackle, guards Nick Gargiulo, Jakai More and center Vershon Lee.

Gamecocks missing starting receiver

Ahmarean Brown didn’t make the trip with the team to Athens. The Georgia Tech transfer injured his hamstring in the first half of last week’s game against Furman. Safety Nick Emmanwori and nickel David Spaulding both made the trip and are likely to play.

Uniform report

USC will be wearing black helmets with a black block C on the side and black facemasks for Saturday’s games. They will be wearing white jerseys with white pants. That is the same combo the Gamecocks wore against Clemson last year.
