Looking forward to Christmas? A big holiday village is coming to the KC area this year

In the heat of a Kansas City summer, you may be craving the cool temperatures and festive cheer of the holiday season.

Christmas lovers will be excited to hear about a brand new experience coming to the Kansas City area for the first time this winter. It’s called Enchant Christmas — a giant pop-up village filled with holiday activities for the whole family.

The village will be located at the Legends Field in Kansas City, Kansas, and will open for visitors on Nov. 24. The experience will be open on Nov. 24, 25, 26 and 30 and Dec. 1, 3, 7, 10 and 14-30 every day.

Here are just a few of the attractions visitors can expect this holiday season:

  • A giant maze filled with larger-than-life replicas of beloved children’s toys

  • An ice skating trail winding through a mini forest of illuminated trees

  • A mini-village of vendors selling festive gifts, snacks, treats and drinks

  • An engaging play area for children aged 7 or younger

  • A pavilion where families can meet Santa and get professional photos taken

Tickets for groups of 10 or more are available now, and individual tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Adult tickets start at $34 per person, with an optional $15 add-on ticket for ice skating. Kids aged 3 to 17 get in for $25 per person, with a $10 add-on for skating. Other ticket options are available for seniors, military members and large groups.

Visitors hoping to save a few dollars can opt for a $30 “night owl” ticket, which grants entry to the village from 8:30 until 10:30 p.m. This option is a great choice for those visiting without young kids.
