Friday is National Cocktail Day, allowing the island’s visitors to explore and SC residents to end their work week while savoring a cocktail in their favorite locale.

Do you know where you’ll celebrate?

If you need a little help, Yelp offers an array of recommendations and reviews for local establishments.

Here are the 10 best bars found on Hilton Head Island where you can celebrate the national holiday, according to Yelp.

10. Coco’s On The Beach

Coco’s On The Beach is ranked as the 10th best bar on the island and is a beachside, relaxed, tropical atmospheric bar that offers tropical cocktails with burgers and beach views in an informal setting. The establishment has an optimal food menu as well as an extensive drink menu and cocktail list including frozen beverages, specialty drinks, margaritas, “choose-your-own” cocktails, hurricanes, wines, beers, and drafts.

The tiki bar can be found at 663 William Hilton Parkway aside Singleton Beach between 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Mondays through Saturday and 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sundays. This will change in mid-May until mid-September where they will be open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.

The tiki bar even features a live deck cam and beach cam for interested guests to check in and see the scene.

9. Oceanside Bar & Grille

Oceanside Bar & Grille can be found in the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean Oak Resort Hilton Head at 41 S Forest Beach Drive. This establishment offers guests “a sit-down limited service restaurant with pool and ocean views, featuring a full lunch and dinner menu, as well as a fire pit to help you relax with your favorite cocktail,” according to the Hilton Grand Vacations Club website. This bar is open daily from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

8. Hinchey’s Chicago Bar & Grill

Hinchey’s Chicago Bar & Grill can be found at 70 Pope Avenue at the south end of Hilton Head Island and is open seven days a week. Hinchey’s kitchen is open from 10 a.m. until 9:45 p.m., the bar is open from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. and a limited late night menu is available from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. Happy Hour at Hinchey’s is from 4-7 p.m. daily. The sports bar also offers free wifi, 25 televisions for optimal sports viewing and an all American menu. Reservations for parties larger than five is recommended.

7. Lucky Rooster Kitchen + Bar

The Lucky Rooster Kitchen + Bar features locally sourced Southern cuisine, which is additionally paired with creative cocktails. The restaurant and bar can be found at 841 William Hilton Parkway Unit A on Tuesdays through Sundays from 11:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. The Lucky Rooster Kitchen + bar offers guests with a “rustic-chic” indoor environment and a heated outdoor bar and patio as well as a wine Wednesday event that features half priced bottles of wine between 4-8 p.m. Happy hour is from 4-7 p.m. featuring food specials, $4 select craft beers, $6 select wines and $8 craft cocktails.

6. Hilton Head Distillery

Hilton Head Distillery ranked as the sixth best bar on the island. The distillery can be found at 14 Cardinal Road on the island’s north end and is open Monday through Saturday from noon until 6:30 p.m. The distillery offers tours, a tasting room, cocktail bar, signature cocktail classes and a bottle shop. They promote sharing their experience amongst friends and family to savor the best of times.

“A great drinking experience should be shared with great people. With tour and tasting options for all ages (21 and over to consume alcohol, of course), exceptionally drinkable spirits, and a relaxed and casual environment, we embrace the idea that enjoying craft spirits is a unique voyage best shared,” Hilton Head Distillery shared on its website.

5. Cool Cats Lounge

Cool Cats Lounge is featured as the island’s south end at 32 Palmetto Bay Road in The Village Exchange. The dine-in bar is open daily from 3 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. and offers guests an array of excitement ranging from trivia, late hours, live music, lunch and dinner food and drinks. The lounge is a great spot for those who want to spend their evening in a unique, relaxed lounge and enjoy drinks with friends.

4. The Sandbar Beach Eats

The Sandbar Beach Eats, also known as The Sandbar, can be found in the Coligny Plaza Shopping Center at 101 Pope Avenue near Coligny Beach, offering guests both an indoor and outdoor seating environment. This locale is open daily from 11:30 a.m. until close at 10 p.m. and promises hospitality as a “key ingredient” to a memorable food and drink experience as well as live, daily music from 6-9 p.m. every evening..

Happy Hour at The Sandbar is every day from 4-6 p.m., featuring $4 house margaritas, $4 well liqueurs, $2 off all wine, $3 Landshark and Bud Light 16oz pints, select $3 and $4 shots and $2 off all beach snacks.

3. Hurricane Bar

The Hurricane Bar can be found next to The Black Marlin at the Palmetto Bay Marina, located at 86 Helmsman Way on Hilton Head Island. This pet-friendly bar is open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and from noon until 10 p.m. on the weekend, featuring live music.

Happy hour is daily from 4-7 p.m. and offers $2 off of all house wines, liquor drinks and appetizers as well as $1 off all beer.

2. Tiki Hut

The Tiki Hut is ranked as the second best bar on Hilton Head Island and is a beachside, “barefoot bar” that offers guests sand volleyball, beach lounge chairs & live music. The beach bar, open since 1977, can be found alongside one of Hilton Head’s beaches at 1 S Forest Beach Drive and is open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

Featuring a tropical, tiki-like atmosphere is described as a “go-to” for good times and has live entertainment daily. A calendar displaying the month’s entertainment line-up can be found on their website. The locale’s drink menu features frozen beverages, hand-crafted cocktails, Tiki Hut favorites, beers and cans, specialty margaritas and floaters to add to any drink.

1. Pool Bar Jim’s

Pool Bar Jim’s was found to be the best bar on Hilton Head Island, according to Yelp. The beachside, open-air bar offers guests a variety of tropical cocktails to choose from. Located at 10 N Forest Beach Drive at the Seacrest Oceanfront Resort, Pool Bar Jim’s is open daily from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.

The bar has released two different books depicting a plethora of tropical cocktail recipes for guests to try if they find themselves away from the bar.
