Tottenham forward Lucas Moura believes Harry Kane should be regarded as a "Premier League legend", adding that the England captain has improved him as a player throughout his time at the club.

Kane has remained consistently prolific since bursting onto the scene under Tim Sherwood back in 2014, scoring 181 goals in 278 games across all competitions, also leading the club's Premier League scoring charts with 136.

The two-time Golden Boot winner has now recovered from a surgery-requiring hamstring injury suffered on New Year's Day and will be fit for the Premier League's resumption later this month.

And Moura insists his desire to win is infectious.

"For me, Harry Kane is already a legend of the Premier League in England," Moura told Bleacher Report.

"For me, his quality to score goals is unbelievable, with right and left foot. He's so strong. He shoots very, very strong.

"He's very competitive and he wants to win every training session, every game and it's pushed me a lot to be a better player, to improve my game.

"If I don't give my best, it will affect him and he'll complain about this, so it makes me a better player for Spurs."
