Discussing the MAFS process, he said: "It's really funny when you go on Married At First Sight, we sign up on a contract where you get to see every part of our life, nothing is off limits.

"That's, I guess, the authenticity, if you stick with it and let everyone see everything, the show can really be a positive thing. The show was filmed close to a year ago now and in regards to what happens off-camera, as we see, we all move in different directions.

"A lot of the cast has dissipated and we all form our circles or just lose touch. So whatever's happened, behind the scenes, I'm always gonna keep that private."

Addressing the rumours, which claimed Tim was jealous of Lucinda's post-show success, Tim said: "And in regards to the online websites and articles about jealousy and all that, they're all off the mark. But in saying that, I will keep why private. There's only three or four people who know, and that's where I'm gonna leave it at.

"I wish Lu all the best in the future. There is no question, sometimes people's paths just take different directions, and that's where it is.

"We filmed a TV show, and it was a lot of fun. It was hard at points, it was raw at some points... it was definitely an experience of a lifetime... that's how I wanna leave it and address it."
