Married at First Sight Australia's Selina Chhaur has said that her mental health "really declined" once the show came to an end.

Matched with Cody Bromley in last year's series, their romance ultimately didn't go anywhere despite giving things a real go.

Reflecting on her current situation carving out a career as an influencer in Sydney, Chhaur admitted to Instagram users that it's not all sunshine and rainbows.

"It may seem like I'm living it up over here, but it has been far from that reality. It's been really tough. I have cried myself to sleep so many nights," she shared.

Apparently, over a year went by before any of her family members reached out.

"For those that have been following my journey, that's a long time to go [with] no contact from your family, especially with everything that I went through. To go through that without my family's support was really hard."

Chhaur then divulged some horrible concerns she's had to face since relocating to the city.

"Only a few weeks ago, I literally was fearing that I was going to be homeless in Sydney. I'm so lucky and grateful that I got approved for this apartment," she told her followers.

"I still live this narrative at the moment where brands still don't want to work with me because I don't fit this cookie cutter blonde haired blue-eyed influencer look.

"That's my reality of the moment, it's not fun and rainbows all the time. It sucks, life does suck sometimes and that's okay."
