Major Case Squad investigates Cahokia Heights murder
The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis said Wednesday it is investigating the shooting death of a 22-year-old man in Cahokia Heights.
Bradford L. Readus of Memphis, Tennessee was found shot to death in a home in the 700 block of Mildred Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Major Case Squad. St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. has reported the victim’s address was in the 100 block of Kenneth Avenue in Cahokia Heights.
Cahokia Heights police officers received a call at about 1:04 p.m. Tuesday regarding the shooting.
About 15 investigators with the Major Case Squad have been called to solve this murder.
No other information about this shooting has been released by police.
