A major fashion retailer is opening at a 4-story Miami shopping center. Here are details
Brickell City Centre is adding a major retailer this year: H&M.
The Brickell complex shops, opened by Swire Properties in 2016, signed a lease with the global fashion retailer to open a multi-level, 25,000-square-foot anchor store. H&M, set to open in late 2024, will be on the second level at 701 S. Miami Ave.
H&M carries women’s, men’s and kids’ collections and accessories. The store will feature tile flooring and detailing, a grand staircase, guest lounge areas and a large screen flashing H&M’s latest fashion campaigns, according to the shopping center.
“Among the world’s leading retailers, H&M is an ideal and exciting addition to the dynamic Brickell City Centre shopping experience,” said David Martin, senior vice president at Swire Properties. “We are pleased to be the first to welcome H&M to Brickell and offer our loyal visitors in greater downtown [Miami] and the surrounding neighborhoods yet another national shopping brand to complement BCC’s tenants that cater to the area’s younger consumer base and tastes.”

Where are there other H&Ms?
South Florida H&M stores are at Miami International Mall in Doral, Dolphin Mall in Sweetwater and Lincoln Road Mall in Miami Beach.
New openings at Brickell City Centre
H&M is the centerpiece addition this year that would allow Brickell City Centre to reach full occupancy since its opening eight years ago, according to the center’s publicist, Quinn PR.
Most recent openings in 2023: Motek (December), gorjana (November), Abercrombie & Fitch and Starbucks (September).
Coming spring 2024: Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer and The Escape Game. The shopping center also has several other openings planned ahead of H&M’s arrival but has not named them.
What is Brickell City Centre
The Shops at Brickell City Centre is a $1 billion, 4.9 million-square-foot mixed-use development that serves the Brickell neighborhood of Miami with four levels of boutiques, restaurants, a CMX movie theater, and nationally recognized retail brands like Saks Fifth Avenue. There are also two residential towers and two office buildings, and the EAST Miami hotel.
H&M joins the center’s stores that include Apple, Zara, Levi’s, Warby Parker and Chanel Fragrance and Beauty Boutique.
Restaurants include Tacology, CMX Stone Sports Bar, Casa Tua Cusina, Marabu and the Sugar rooftop bar and lounge.
The Shops at BCC has introduced 24 new brands to its tenant mix since 2020, according to Quinn.
