Man arrested in east-end homicide

A fourth homicide occurred overnight in the GTA, at a residence in Toronto's east end.

A police spokesman says shortly before 6:30 a.m. emergency personnel responded to a 911 call for medical assistance near O'Connor Drive and Wakunda Place.

A man was found lying on the floor of a residence, and was pronounced dead.

Another man was arrested on the scene, police said.

The victim's identity has not been released until next of kin have been notified.

The death marks the city's 11th homicide of the year.
