Manchester City are through to the Champions League quarter-finals after knocking out Real Madrid at the Etihad.

Raheem Sterling opened the scoring off a Raphael Varane error, but Karim Benzema levelled for Los Blancos. Howver, Gabriel Jesus took advantage of another Varane mistake to seal a 4-2 aggregate win.

The two sides have met five times previously in the Champions League.

Real have won twice, drawn twice and lost once, though that one defeat was in the first leg of this tie way back in February.
