Man injured in Friday night shooting at park in Paso Robles
A man was shot in Paso Robles on Friday night, the Police Department said in a news release.
Police said they received multiple calls at 9:17 p.m. regarding shots fired near Sherwood Park in Paso Robles.
“Officers arrived in the area within a minute of being dispatched and were flagged down by an adult male who had suffered a single, non-life threatening gunshot wound in his leg,” police said in the release.
The man was then transported to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. Detectives are currently investigating the shooting and suspect it stemmed from a physical altercation between the man and a group of men in the park.
