Man injured in shooting in Sacramento’s Northgate neighborhood. Police investigating

Sacramento police are investigating a shooting that injured one man Monday afternoon.

Police responded to reports of the shooting just before 2 p.m. Monday near the intersection of West El Camino Avenue and Northgate Boulevard, the Sacramento Police Department said.

When they arrived, officers found one man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.

Officers gathered evidence at the scene and detectives are investigating, said Sgt. Karl Chan, spokesman for the Police Department.

No arrests have been made.
