Man tells Fort Worth police he was stabbed after catching a ride from a stranger
Fort Worth police are investigating a stabbing after responding to a call from a male victim who reported a troubling sequence of events Monday morning.
The victim told investigators he had been at a saloon and accepted a ride from someone he didn’t know. He told police that he later woke up in a field, bleeding from stab wounds, and immediately called for help.
No suspects have been identified. However, police said their initial investigations suggest the incident might be linked to a domestic dispute.
Officers found the victim in the 1500 block of Langston Street, in east Fort Worth, shortly before 8 a.m. Monday.
He was taken to a nearby hospital and was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
