Manchester City star Phil Foden, 23, and girlfriend Rebecca Cooke, 22, expecting third child together
Phil Foden and girlfriend Rebecca Cooke have confirmed that they are expecting their third child together.
The Manchester City midfielder, 23, and his childhood sweetheart, 22, threw a lavish baby shower at Stockport Country Football Club in Manchester over the weekend to celebrate the happy news.
In images shared to their five-year-old son Ronnie’s official Instagram account, the proud parents-to-be could be seen posing with the youngster and their one-year-old daughter True in front of a large blue and white balloon arch and large LED letters that spelt “Baby Foden”.
The couple have yet to reveal the gender of their unborn baby, but there was a clear blue and white theme, which could either suggest it’s a boy or be a nod to Foden’s team’s colours.
Guests could help themselves to a blue chocolate fountain, a blue and white cake, and other blue and white cakes and sweets.
A food table also featured donuts and cupcakes with blue icing and teddy bear cookies.
There was also a cart with "Baby Foden" written containing jars of different kinds of sweets.
The couple enlisted the help of go-to celebrity party planner Steph Ledigo and her team at GOPR and Events who as always, pulled out all of the stops to make it a bash to remember.
Sharing images online to the GO PR Instagram account, they wrote: “A huge thank you to Becca @officialronniefoden_ for trusting us with this special occasion. Such an amazing day we were so excited to be a party of.”
Replying to the post, Foden said: "Beautiful work as always, thank you."
Foden and Cooke were both raised in Stockport and reportedly met at a party.
The footballer became a dad for the first time at the age of 18 in 2019 when he and Cooke welcomed son Ronnie into the world.
He then announced in 2021 that Cooke was pregnant again, with him becoming a father for the second time aged 20.
