Marijuana plants worth $1M seized from outdoor grow-ops in Ottawa, police say

Police have seized more than 1,500 marijuana plants grown outdoors in rural southeast and southwest Ottawa during its fall outdoor bust.

Investigators harvested 22 different patches of marijuana plants in 15 separate locations.

About 2,000 kg of plants were seized, police said in a media release issued Thursday.

No suspects have been identified.
