A Massachusetts man is using his lottery winnings to honor someone special in his life — his dog!

Riley won the prize in the lottery's "100X Cash" instant scratch ticket game — he chose to receive the money in a one-time payment of $2.6 million before taxes — and he has big plans for it.
Along with treating his wife to a new car, the animal lover plans to donate a portion of his winnings to the Animal Rescue League in honor of his furry friend; he told the Massachusetts State Lottery.
The Instagram post on the lottery's account featuring Riley and Raven — who looked cute and cozy in a fuzzy purple sweater — garnered quite a few fans.
"Love that he included his fur baby in [the] picture," one person commented, while another called him a "true animal lover."
Others praised Riley's decision to give back, writing, "Donating to animal shelter is [an] amazing thing to do" and "bless u for donating to our fur babies."
