McDonald's launches vegan ice cream in two delicious flavours

A new dairy-free ice cream is coming to McDonald's just in time for summer (though some may want to wait until the weather heats up a bit before getting an ice cream fix).

Available in two flavours (chocolate and strawberry), the product has been described as “smooth and creamy,” and will set you back £1.59 for a tub.

However, the catch is that the new dessert is currently only available in some branches, with 52 in total currently offering the dessert.

The McFreezy is also available, for those extra summer days, though it’s currently only available in 187 restaurants in the North West. It’s a frozen ice dessert with fruit juice and puree, available in either Orange, or Mango and Pineapple flavour.

While both items are only available for a limited time in a trial, running from June 12 until September 3, they may be rolled out to more restaurants in 2025 if they’re popular enough.

But that’s not all that’s on offer for vegans at McDonald’s. From the McPlant, which launched back in 2021, to the Veggie Dippers and Spicy veggie wrap, there’s plenty to choose from.

Other options include the Vegetable Deluxe, and of course the McDonald’s fries in the UK are vegan-friendly.
